A new vegan frozen yogurt shop opens in Bishop Arts

We still can’t believe that this is a vegan frozen yogurt shop. Yes, it’s THAT good.

It’s been two weeks since the opening of Bishop Arts’ first vegan frozen yogurt shop, Swirled Peace, at 309 W. Eighth St. Since its opening, the shop has gone viral for its unique dessert concept.

Located in the eclectic southern Dallas neighborhood, the vegan and dairy-free establishment is the area’s first vegan frozen yogurt shop. However, it still fits the homey vibe found at other businesses on the street. Like its across-the-street neighbor coffee shop Wild Detectives, the frozen yogurt business is set up inside a quaint bungalow.

The shop — inspired by Willy Wonka — is known for its light and bright colors and unique flavors. From Mexican Vanilla Vacation to Supersonic Strawberry Balsamic, there’s something for everyone.

The store has also gained a following on social media for another dessert item unique to the area: its THC and CBD-infused shakes have become a customer favorite and can be made with any flavor your heart desires.

Founded by Dallas resident and ice cream enthusiast Sara Saginaw, the company prides itself on bringing joy, plant-based options, and deliciousness to the community. Pro-Tip: Make sure to stop by and say hi, before you check out their backyard patio.
