What ice cream flavor best embodies Dallas?

Our city is home to so many distinct flavors and regional fruits and veggies. Which would you use to make Dallas into its very own flavor of ice cream?

If the ice cream is strawberry, that means it counts as a serving of fruit — right? Asking for a friend. | Photo via Unsplash

Calling all lovers of Dallas. Even though it’s the fall season, the upcoming high temperatures have us craving ice cream. We want to know — if the Big D was a flavor of ice cream, what would it be?

What local ingredients would it contain? Would it be filled with globs of chocolate like a rocky road representing our roads in Dallas or would it have a local touch with cookie dough from Super Duper Cookie Company?

Share your locally inspired ice cream flavor with us by Friday, Nov. 1, and we may feature it in an upcoming newsletter — just make sure it includes one to three local ingredients (bonus points if you list the local spot to source the ingredients and include a catchy name for your frosty concoction).
