How Dallasites can help victims of the Los Angeles wildfires

To LA, with love — here’s how Dallas can help victims of the devastating January 2025 wildfires in Los Angeles.

If you’re looking for ways to help victims impacted by LA County’s fires, we’ve gathered a few resources.

Sprinkled with Pink

This Richardson boutique is donating 100% of proceeds from its California collection to supporting fire victims.

Coast Cycle

Keep fit + help folks in need. This cycle gym is donating 100% of proceeds from a special $25 class credit card to wildfire relief.

East Dallas Middle Ground

This coffee shop, owned by a Pasadena native, is collecting toys, clothing, bedding, school supplies, and more for the kids of Pasadena and Altadena. Swing by to drop off your items and grab a cup of joe 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Bird Bakery

These sweet-hearts are donating proceeds from sales of its strawberry lemonade cupcake to fire relief. “Because we believe in turning lemons into lemonade and 85-90% of strawberries are produced in California,” reads the bakery’s Instagram post announcing the program.

The American Red Cross

The organization is aiding wildfire victims with emergency shelters, meals, and medical care. The Red Cross is accepting donations online or by calling (800) RED-CROSS.

The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation

The LA-based organization — which supports 3,500 firefighters + paramedics — is seeking donations to support LAFD members battling wildfires with tools and supplies. Donate online.

California Fire Foundation

This organization works with local fire agencies and community organizations to directly support victims of wildfires and disasters in California. Donate online.

United Way of Greater Los Angeles

Donations to this organization’s Wildfire Response Fund will support LA residents and long-term recovery efforts.

Los Angeles Regional Food Bank

As part of LA fire relief efforts, a financial donation to this nonprofit will help the organization provide food to Angelenos in need. The organization is also accepting food donations at its LA distribution centers.

Pasadena Humane Society

This Californian animal shelter has taken in more than 300+ animals and is treating several with burns and other fire-related injuries. Donate to help furry friends in need.

The Salvation Army

The nonprofit is accepting donations to help provide shelter, food, and disaster relief directly to the victims of the wildfires.

World Central Kitchen

WCK has mobilized across Los Angeles County to provide comforting meals to first responders + families impacted by the wildfires. Donate online to support these ongoing efforts.
