Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) revealed a new $18.2 million proposed plan to move tens of thousands of fans between Dallas and Arlington during the 2026 World Cup. Major residential developer Centurion American has purchased 82 acres of land in Howe with the intention of trying to help meet housing needs of the growing tech community. A mansion in Prosper that once belonged to Dallas Cowboys star Deion Sanders has hit the market for $5.5 million. Closing
After 20 years of service, Mexican restaurant Fernando’s is closing both of its locations. The business’s managing partner said that it was unable to reach a lease agreement with its landlords in Dallas, but will close both spots as the Richardson location’s lease is also ending soon. Fernando’s last day of service is set for Sunday, May 18. (Eater Dallas)

A little birdie told us that Texas has been ranked the third best state in the US for birdwatching this year.
