Sometimes you get the munchies late at night, so we’re helping out with a list of spots that stay open late around Dallas.

We’ve all been there. You’re leaving a late-night show or wrapping up a night on the town, and the midnight munchies hit. But it seems like the lights are off and the grills are cold at all your favorite Dallas restaurants.

Well that’s not quite true — because there are definitely joints that cater to nighttime eaters with late-night meals of everything from pizza to burgers to barbecue. So save this list for the next time you’ve got an after-hours craving.

Eclectic eats

Big Guys Chicken & Rice, 2614 Elm St. | If you love street meat like gyro and chicken, you’ll love this more sophisticated approach that offers delivery through third-party apps late into the night.

Brick & Bones, 2713 Elm St. | “What’s for dinner, chicken or chicken?” However, this isn’t your average fried chicken joint. B&B is a local favorite for its crisp and juicy wings and tenders.

Cafe Brazil, Multiple locations | We firmly believe breakfast can be enjoyed any time of the day and this local cafe agrees, offering classic items like French toast or egg sammies 24-hours a day.

Plomo, 1802 McMillan Ave. | After you bite into one of these homemade quesadillas at 3 a.m., you’ll never want to go through a fast food chain’s drive-thru again.

Velvet Taco, Multiple locations | Not only does this spot offer quirky tacos long into the night, it also has locations scattered all around Dallas, including Deep Ellum, Greenville, Preston, and Uptown.

Classic bar bites

Saint Valentine, 4800 Bryan St. | If you love sloppy Joes, this is the place to be at 2 a.m. because they make em’ extra sloppy for ya. All “Billy Madison” references aside, their rendition of this budget-friendly sandwich puts that canned sauce to shame.

Sonny Bryans Smokehouse, 2202 Inwood Rd. | This is a 24-hour Texas-style barbecue that has been in business since 1910. With that much time in the smoking game, it’s safe to say they’ve perfected their craft with unforgettable ribs, wings, and more.

Truck Yard, 5624 Sears St. | Treat yourself to a late-night hot dog or go big with the cheesesteak, piled high with ribeye steak or chicken and cheese.

Goodbye Horses, 5629 SMU Blvd. | Dig into a plate of Tex-Mex nachos or Buffalo wings with your friends while you sip local beers until 2 a.m.

Nice slice(s)

DALtoday Zalat Pizza

Greenville Ave. Pizza Co., Multiple locations | This shop is a favorite among many Dallas pizza fans thanks to its rotating menu of seasonal ‘zas, such as the hatch chile + chorizo pizza.

Sfuzzi, 2401 Henderson Ave. | Pizza, pasta, bread, and perhaps another glass of wine all combine to create a great late-night Italian eatery.

Serious Pizza, 2807 Elm St. | If you have a hungry crew, we recommend the 30-in pizza + the menu includes vegetarian options for your late-night, plant-based pals.

Zalat Pizza, Multiple locations | It’s almost never too late for a New York-style pizza, and Zalat will have you covered until 2 a.m. on the weekends.
