It’s fall, yall
Expect a warmer fall than usual.|Graphic via NOAA.
We know the question on your mind, Dallasites — when is it going to get cool?
Thanks to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Prediction Center, we know what temperatures and precipitation trends to expect in our city for the rest of October and November.
Temperature
Fall may feel pretty toasty — Dallas is predicted to have temperatures leaning 40-50% above normal this season.
Precipitation
Don’t anticipate too much rainfall — autumn should bring the typical amount of precipitation in the metroplex. Dallas has a 40-50% chance of seeing below-normal than average rainfall amounts this fall.
Oh hay, October
Dallasites will experience a decrease in the average high temperatures, falling from September’s tropical 87.8°F (31°C) to a moderately hot 76.3°F (24.6°C). An average low temperature of 58.8°F (14.9°C) can be felt during the October nights.
