Dallas Farmers Market | Sept. 21-Oct. 31 | The Shed at the Dallas Farmers Market | There are 25 different varieties of locally grown pumpkins to choose from + these gourds are expected to last a bit longer since they didn’t have to travel far before being sold.
Pumpkin Patch | Sept. 30-Oct. 31 | St. James Episcopal Church | This program has been around since 1997, offering Dallasites pumpkins of all different shapes and sizes. Keep reading for more details on a family-friendly event here at the end of October.

The numbers are in: North Texans raised over $68 million for 3,200 local nonprofits for North Texas Giving Day. All proceeds of each donation go to nonprofit organizations across 20 counties in North Texas. (FOX4 KDFW)

Fletcher’s Original Corny Dogs announced a limited-edition Mustard Beer, created through a collaboration with Martin House Brewing Company and Best Maid Dill Pickles. The new NHL 25 video game was released to all platforms on Friday + it gave Dallas Stars fans their first look at the virtual squad. Defenseman Miro Heiskanen led the team with the highest overall at 92, followed by winger Jason Robertson with an overall at 90. Sometimes Tuesday can just feel like another Monday, but not if you visit Griggs Park in October.
The popular park will host “Movies in the Park” again this year, featuring family-friendly Halloween-themed movies every Tuesday. These nights are free with popcorn included, plus dog-friendly. The only thing you need to bring is lawn chairs and extra blankets.
