Eat

Addison is welcoming a new seafood and prime meats restaurant. Acclaimed chef Omar Flores’ Even Coast opened on Belt Line Road yesterday. The restaurant is part of the new Work Shop complex at Prestonwood Boulevard. (CultureMap Dallas)

Coming Soon

Japan’s retail store Uniqlo will open its first three locations in North Texas this fall. The Galleria Dallas location will open Friday, Oct. 18. (WFAA)

Plan Ahead

In partnership with Dallas College, Restaurant Beatrice’s Women in Restaurants Leadership Program returns this fall. As part of the program, a Capstone dinner will be held to support costs for future incoming students on Monday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. at Dallas College’s Culinary School. (Oak Cliff Advocate)

Almost a month after a fire destroyed the historic Dallas sanctuary, First Baptist Dallas had its official first day of church services on-site Sunday at its worship center next door. The church opened its doors originally in 1868.
