Summer is known for fresh produce, but in our boozy book, it’s also known for light and crushable beers from local breweries. We call that balance. And that’s why we are stashing these summer-themed brews away in our fridge for a rainy day.

Celestial Color Blind | With loads of watermelon and strawberry, this is a quintessential summer sour that is juicy, tart, and candy-like with a 5% ABV. You can order pickup from the bar or they deliver to some locations.

False Idol Brewing Life’s A Pawty | If you’re a beer fan who doesn’t understand the craft craze, this classic West Coast pilsner can be your entry point. Plus, the can design is too doggone cool.

Manhattan Project Flamenco Beach | This beer is best enjoyed by a pool or beach with tropical notes of pineapple + Skittles (yes, the candy). Be warned that this brew packs a punch at 8.4% ABV.

ODD Muse Brewing Company Texas Tan Lines | At a 7.5% ABV, we may be pushing the limits of “crushable,” but this hazy IPA with mango and passion fruit will take you straight to an island vacation (results may vary).

Lakewood Brewing Sunburst | This American wheat ale can be found at 30+ grocers around Dallas, according to their beer finder map. It’s light, refreshing, and tastes even better after a long day of outdoor work in the sun.

3 Nations Salty Pirate | Adventure into something new with a strawberry lemonade gose that is both sweet and salty. You can pick up cans in the brewery or at select stores around Dallas.

Did we miss your favorite beer? Send it our way so we can add it to our stockpile.
