Four Dallas brands are finalists for H-E-B’s Quest for Texas Best

H-E-B is on the hunt for the best Texas-made products in its 11th annual Quest for Texas Best competition. Four Dallas local brands have made the cut as finailists.

After reviewing more than 16 hours of video submissions from 470 creative entrepreneurs from more than 118 cities across Texas, ten North Texas brands have been named finalists in H-E-B’s Quest for Texas Best.

The winner, henceforth to be known as the best Texas-made product, will win $70,000. Meet the four Dallas-based finalists.

Dallas Finalists

  • Encina is a Dallas-based vegetarian restaurant known for its fresh local ingredients. Their Blue Corn Butterscotch Pancake Mix has made the cut as a finalist on the list.
  • Emiliano Espinosa-Dominguez is the creator behind HydroN Natural Sports Drinks. The young entrepreneur wanted to create an energy drink that paid homage to his family’s favorite drinks.
  • Marasi Foods specializes in naan. Owners Saemae Hoda and Shabaz Sohail are finalists for their frozen-filled naan bread. The brand is known for its fresh, high-quality, and delicious spices.
  • Friends and mothers Jazmin Miranda + Roxana Ventura created Sarape Treats with a goal in mind: to represent Hispanic culture through their high-quality chamoy paste made with real fruit.
