The Dallas Music Office will strive to grow the support of music arts within Dallas.

Visit Dallas just launched a new initiative to support and promote Dallas’ local music industry.

The Dallas Music Office, an extension of the regional Texas Music Office, will exist to serve as a marketing and community space for the Dallas music scene.

Who will the office serve? The office will focus on the needs of artists, bands, venues, community members, and other stakeholders who have a vested interest in local music in Dallas. Musicians and venues can register to be considered for hire or rental opportunities.

Key partners and initial initiatives and include Dallas Sounds, KXT Radio, LOVE Field Stage, Dallas Entertainment Awards, and Busking Project. Here’s how they’ll get involved:

  • KXT Radio will feature interviews, stream local music, and share highlights of Dallas-based artists. A special October Local Music Month will be celebrated with a major media campaign.
  • LOVE Field Stage in this partnership will amplify Dallas’ music scene at Dallas Love Field, with QR codes linking to a homepage and a calendar of live music events.
  • The Dallas Entertainment Awards, scheduled for early 2025, will celebrate local talent across various entertainment sectors.

Got a favorite local musician or band? Send us a message about who they are and their upcoming shows.
