The Michelin Guide announced that it would review restaurants in Texas. The French company will be releasing guides for Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. The Lone Star State will become the 11th guide in North America.

The coolest thing about the process is that it is anonymous. Nobody will know who the inspectors are in Dallas and other Texas restaurants. The guide will not only showcase restaurants but will also add to its already unique hotel guide for premiere travel destinations.

We decided to ask ChatGPT who it thinks would be on the list. With so many good food choices and stays in Dallas, why not have AI narrow it down for you?

First Question, ChatGPT. Do you know what the Michelin Guide is?

Yes, I do. The Michelin Guide awards restaurants with Michelin stars, which are highly coveted and considered a mark of culinary excellence. Restaurants can receive one, two, or three stars based on the quality of their food, service, and overall dining experience. A three-star rating signifies exceptional cuisine that is worth a special journey.

Knife Dallas: Known for its exceptional steaks and modern American cuisine
Uchi Dallas: Renowned for its inventive take on Japanese cuisine and sushi
Pappas Bros. Steakhouse: Celebrated for its prime steaks and extensive wine selection
Tei-An: Recognized for its authentic Japanese soba noodles and sushi
Mansion Restaurant: Located in the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, offering upscale American cuisine in an elegant setting
Sachet: Sachet is known for Mediterranean-inspired dishes with fresh ingredients and a vibrant lively atmosphere

Why did you choose those restaurants specifically?

These restaurants represent a variety of culinary styles and have consistently been highlighted for their exceptional food quality, service, and ambiance, making them standout choices for anyone exploring Dallas’ vibrant dining scene.

1. The Joule: Known for its stunning rooftop pool that extends out over Main Street, The Joule combines luxury with a unique design aesthetic and feel.

2. Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek: Situated in a historic mansion in the quaint upscale Turtle Creek neighborhood, this hotel offers a luxurious retreat with impeccable service and a renowned restaurant.

3. The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas: A hallmark of luxury and historic hospitality, The Ritz-Carlton in Dallas offers opulent accommodations, a spa, and fine dining options that would appeal to Michelin inspectors.

4. Hotel Crescent Court: Situated in the Uptown district, this hotel combines classic elegance with modern amenities.

5. The Adolphus: A historic landmark in downtown Dallas, The Adolphus offers a blend of classic charm and modern luxury.

6. The Statler Dallas: The Statler blends contemporary style with a nod to its historic and vintage roots.
