Dallas Zoo to open new parking lot in summer 2025.

WFAA, Dallas Zoo

The first-ever parking garage will soon be added to the Dallas Zoo. Along with Dallas Parks and Recreation, it was announced that the new parking garage will accommodate up to 600 cars in the new four-story lot.

The $16 million project, according to the Oak Cliff Advocate, will span two acres of land across from the park, offering the zoo and other area visitors a solution to parking concerns. The garage will increase the zoo’s parking volume by an estimated 50 percent.

This is the zoo’s first project to begin construction from a multi-phase, multi-year plan, with the project starting this summer.

The parking lot is expected to open to the public by the summer of 2025. Who’s ready for a trip to the zoo?
