Blending classical and contemporary, familiar and fantastically unexpected, Texas Ballet Theater’s brand-new “Diversions” invites you to experience the extraordinary.

Debuting Friday, Feb. 27, as part of eight performances at Wyly Theatre and Bass Performance Hall, this quartet of four original works leads audiences on a journey across the art form.

Think of it as ballet at its most versatile. A mixed repertoire showcase spanning generations and continents. Look forward to:

Violin Concerto in D | A sweeping classical spectacle of tutus, tiaras, and Tchaikovsky’s timeless score.

Diversion of Angels | Vivid choreography explores the poetic complexities of love in this modern masterpiece from Martha Graham.

Bolero | The world premiere of a heartfelt tribute, blending contemporary and timeless forms.

Company B | A neoclassical ballet and energetic wartime homage set to the swinging rhythms of the Andrews Sisters.
