    Development

JCPenney’s former headquarters will soon become a mixed-use living community with quite a lot of amenities. Plans for the 107-acre site include 750 multi-family units, five townhomes, five office towers, a 10-story hotel, four restaurants, a public park, and 21 acres of open space. Construction will occur in two phases. (Dallas Business Journal)

    Real Estate

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy recently put one of his homes on the market, although a source said the move was just to be closer to one of his kid’s schools. The 8,300-sqft house, located in Allen, is listed for $5.7 million with five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a resort-style pool. (The Dallas Morning News)

    Eat

Have your Dallas Cowboys and... eat them too? Tyson has partnered with the football team to release a new line of star-shaped Cowboys chicken nuggets. The nugs can now be purchased at several local grocery stores, club stores, and at home games. (The Dallas Morning News)

    The Wrap

    From our Editor

    Alina_Wrap_Blue
Fun fact about that new bee honey beer from On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen: “buzzing the tower” is a military maneuver where a jet essentially flies low + fast enough near a control tower that the people inside get rattled by the boom. You can see it played out in the original “Top Gun.”
