October is filled with frightful fun in the City of Denton. This is the city’s first year as an official Halloween town, making the city a major Halloween destination. Many local businesses have joined in on the theme by decorating their storefronts and offering themed drinks and food.
There are also different events that are being held each day:
The Haunted Hotline scavenger hunt | Daily | Free | Start at Discover Denton, 111 W. Hickory St.
Choose your must-have Halloween item, both on sale for Prime Big Deal Days: these party-ready pumpkin + ghost lidded glass cups (now 20% off), or this no-effort skeleton onesie costume (now 38% off).
Look, I love a good scare and during the spooky season, I always make it a point to visit one haunted House. Let’s scream together at Denton’s The Parker House. The 1940s home was once a mortuary that was closed down by the FBI due to the horrific acts by the Parker’s daughter Mary.
