Swap Con X DFW Vintage Swap Meet, AT&T Discovery District
Every month locals gather to swap or shop vintage pieces from local vendors. Pro-tip: This event is also pet-friendly.

Traders Village, Traders Village Grand Prairie
Pick from over 3,500 vendors every Saturday and Sunday. The giant flea market also offers food and rides — perfect for the whole family.

Canton Flea Market, 800 First Monday Ln.
Coined the world’s largest flea market, Canton definitely lives up to its name, with more than 7,500 vendors across 450 acres. The flea’s next shows are set for Thursday, Aug. 29 through Sunday, Sept. 1.

The Japanese reused shop has expanded to other parts internationally, including Dallas’s Deep Ellum. The shop is known for quality designer and vintage items.

  • After 35 years, Dallas Yoga Center is closing its doors. The last day for classes will be Sunday, Aug. 25, after the center originally opened in 1989. (CultureMap Dallas)

  • Phew — Cowboys fans are definitely gonna want a bite out of this news. Legends Hospitality has announced a new line of menu items for the 2024 season at AT&T stadium. New foods include the Pizza Burger, Wagyu Truffle Burger, and the sweet syrup dripping Churro Waffle. Now is a good time to get that drool off the floor. (Dallas Observer)

  • An Austin bar is making Dallas its new home at 2926 Maple Ave. Bar W is now open, offering good burgers and a selection of beers. Old-school bar Stoneleigh P. used to occupy the location, but has since relocated to Lemmon Ave. (CultureMap Dallas)

  • Would you like to form an alliance? Yes, yes we would. The University of Texas at Dallas, Texas State University, and Collin College have partnered up. The Collin College Academic Alliance will allow students to now seamlessly transition from associate to bachelor’s degrees while reducing tuition costs. (Dallas Innovates)
