Common Desk
This coworking space has locations in Bishop Arts, downtown, and North Dallas. Common Desk has been around since 2012, so it isn’t new to the coworking world. Being a WeWork company, the coworking space is growing as it provides options in artsy areas like the West End.

The City of Dallas plans to partially fill a $38 million funding gap in the city budget by merging, moving, and dissolving certain departments. Transit
Seeing some empty trains lately? DART is testing the new silver line, which will provide rail services to Plano and Richardson. The tests will run the full route over various times, and will not hold passengers. (Community Impact Dallas)
Development
Real estate investment firm Asana Partners is planning a $27 million renovation of the Design District. The remodel will include the Oak Lawn Design Plaza as well as the interior, exterior, and site renovations of seven buildings. The plaza was built in 1970 and occupies nine acres. (Dallas Business Journal)
Announced
The Texas Rangers have officially announced their 2025 schedule. The Boston Red Sox will be the first opponent at Globe Life Field on Thursday, March 27, making it the earliest opener for the Rangers in franchise history. (WFAA)
Closing
Eddie V’s Prime Seafood is closing due to recent performance evaluations. The Oak Lawn Avenue restaurant has been around for 14 years and will have its last day of service on Sunday, July 28. The Plano and Fort Worth spots will remain open. (The Dallas Morning News)
Concert
Boyz II Men with Robin Thicke will perform at the Toyota Music Factory in Irving. The famous, harmonious group has been together since the 80s and put out big hits like “Motownphilly” and “End of the Road.” Ticket prices start at $50.
