If you’re like many other Dallasites, you may be on the hunt for a local pool this summer. Keep reading for our list of can’t-miss watering holes.

Nestled on the outskirts of downtown at the fairly new Village Apartments is the Village Beach Club. The new pool offers cabanas, a swim bar, DJ events, and day passes starting at $15. For another downtown option, check out The Westin Galleria Dallas for poolside drinks and food service from the hotel. Entrance is $30 for adults and $15 for kids.

Not too far away from the Galleria, off Central Expressway, is the Beeman Hotel. The newly-renovated hotel has an indoor pool with day passes starting at $25 for adults and $10 for kids. Families can also stop by the Texas Pool, a 168,000-gallon saltwater lone star-shaped pool with day passes for $10 per person.

Now, say you want a break from the kids. In Turtle Creek, The Pool Club at Virgin Hotels Dallas is for adults only. The pool is paired with a poolside bar with day passes on sale for $25. Adults looking to take a dip can also head to Lee Harvey’s Dive-In, which doesn’t allow children into their private swim club after 5 p.m. Day passes range from $5 to $20.

For a more active water day, check out surf spots like Good Surf and DFW Surf. Both destinations are making waves in the metroplex with their surfing and bars. Paddleboarding and wake surfing rentals are available at DFW Surf’s premier inland surf destination.

We can’t forget about one of Dallas’s most popular and oldest public pools. Since 1952, the Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE) Dallas Chapter, an international nonprofit organization in Dallas, has offered a public pool. The family-friendly facility also has a bar, a concessions stand, and a sand volleyball court.
