Dallas Blooms flower festival begins to bud

Billed as the biggest annual floral festival in the southwest, this celebration showcases more than 500,000 tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and cherry blossoms.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden’s annual Dallas Blooms flower festival is just beginning to blossom. And with more than 500,000 tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and cherry blossoms, the biggest flower festival in the southwest is sure to be unbe-leaf-able.

Here are some quick need-to-know tips if you’re already daisy-dreaming.

  • The festival runs through Sunday, April 13 with other mini events like the Food and Wine Festival sprinkled throughout the schedule.
  • This year’s theme is “Outside the Ordinary” and features Seward Johnson’s hyper-realistic bronze statues, along with the Arboretum’s tallest ever installation “Crossing Paths” that stands 20 ft. tall.
  • Ticket prices range $18-$26.
