Bishop Bazaar

April 13, May 4, and June 1
We all know the reason we do a spring cleaning is just to make room for all the cool stuff we buy at arts markets. Find locally made bags, jewelry, mugs, snacks, wall art, and more. There will be plenty of live music to serenade you while you shop, too.

Dallas International Film Festival

Friday, April 25-Thursday, May 1

Country music and barbecue go together like PB + J. Chow down on smoked delicacies from 15 local barbecue shops and kick some dust up to musical performers like Jon Pardi, Eli Young Band, and Midland.

Wildflower Music Festival

Friday, May 16-Sunday, May 18
In addition to being able to catch performances from big acts like Young the Giant and Sugar Ray, you can also have some fun with songwriting workshops, a cornhole tournament, and climbable spinning tops.

Tacos and Tequila Festival

Saturday, May 17
If the name of this festival wasn’t enough to make you salivate, it’s also headlined by icons Busta Rhymes, Timbaland, Soulja Boy, and Trina.

Dallas MLK Freedom Walk

Saturday, June 14
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center is hosting this festival that begins with a 4K Freedom Walk for wellness and wraps up with a community festival featuring live music, vendors, and family-friendly activities.

Opal’s Walk for Freedom

Thursday, June 19
