Tower Club Dallas gives local artists a platform with rotating art installation

The Dallas social club hopes the new art installation will bridge the gap between art and community.

Dallas is home to many visionaries and innovators in the art scene. Artist Collective Le Beau Travail, with Tower Club Dallas and Franc Lee Art, are working to provide an ideal environment to showcase local artists this summer.

A rotating art installation will showcase local artistry and their mediums, starting with an inaugural exhibition featuring prominent black artists on Juneteenth.

The mission of the art installation is to change how we view art in essential places outside of its stereotypical environments, such as museums and galleries. Dallas’ premiere social cub, Tower Club Dallas, will act as a third space for viewers to socialize and enjoy their time with the pieces.

The first installation will feature a look into Dallas’ cultural diversity, showcasing various Black voices and experiences. The partnership will encourage a deeper connection within the metroplex and provide a platform for artists who may have otherwise been overlooked.

“We hope to inspire and engage the community, encouraging a deeper connection with the arts and with each other,” Anna Irvine, Owner of Le Beau Travail, said to us about the collaboration via a press release.

Art enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the installation and learn about different area artists all summer long at the Tower Club Dallas on 1601 Elm St. Looking to go shopping? Artists will also be selling their featured pieces throughout the installation.

Are you a lesser-known artist looking for exposure? LBT with Le Franc and Tower Club Dallas are seeking a variety of voices and artistic mediums for their rotating art installation. Apply to be featured.

With more upcoming events on the way, check out LBT’s calendar for more announcements on installations.

What to know:

  • First installation on Juneteenth starts June 1
  • Located on the 48th Floor of the Dallas Arts Tower
  • The rotating installation will last until August until its new installation rotation September 1.
